Tell Us What We Got Wrong.

This archive covers more than a century of literary prizes, and a project that size gets things wrong. If you spot an error we would genuinely like to hear about it, and we will fix it.

Corrections

The most useful message you can send is a correction. A wrong year, a misspelled author, a book credited to the wrong prize, a link that opens the wrong edition. Tell us which page and what it should say, and a source if you have one to hand. We check every winner list against the prize's own records, but records disagree with each other more often than you would expect.

Awards We Should Cover

We add prizes when we can source a complete and verifiable list of winners. If an award matters to you and is missing, say which one and where its official archive lives. That second part is usually the reason a prize is not here yet.

Using Our Research

Teachers, librarians and researchers are welcome to use these lists. If you want to reproduce a large part of the archive, or you are curious how a list was assembled, ask and we will explain the sourcing.

What We Cannot Help With

We do not accept books for review, we are not connected to any of the prize committees, and we cannot pass a message to an author or publisher. We also do not run guest posts or link exchanges, so those messages go unanswered.
